Frequently asked questions
Where are my grades stored?
Only on your phone, inside the app. There is no account and no server: nobody else sees them.
How do I move my grades to another phone?
In Settings tap "Save backup" and send the file to yourself (for example to Files, your email or your cloud). On the new phone, open ManyGrades, tap "Open backup" and choose that file. Note: it replaces what is in the app.
How do I change the grading scale?
In Settings choose the "Default scale" for new courses. Each course can have its own scale, passing grade and minimum per assessment: open the course and edit it.
The grade I need does not match what my school says
Check the weight of each assessment, the minimum per assessment and the rounding (Settings → "Rounding"). If it still does not match, email us the scale and your grades and we will look into it.
Can I move my grades to a spreadsheet?
Yes: "Export CSV" creates a file any spreadsheet app can open.
What happens if I delete the app?
Your data is deleted from the phone. To keep it, save a backup first.
Does it cost anything?
No. ManyGrades is free and has no ads.
